John began his road trip on August 26th, 2005. He first made the 5 hour drive to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. While there he visited his friend Jeff on his Birthday. He then made the 6 hour drive to New York, New York where his friend Matt was nice enough to put him up. While there he saw numerous fun sites including the park, Wall Street, Time Square, Rockefeller Center, Trump building, UN Building, Grand Central Station (officially called Grand Central Terminal: trains come and go) and even the subway system. The steering wheels show what time John left for and arrived at any given location. For both the drive out and the +10 hour drive back rain clouds provided free entertainment.
